Despues del Viaje: Los Pensamientos del Ruben

First of all, we arrived to Vigo's airport, the plane was late but while we're waiting, we met a famous soccer player. The flight was about two hour and in the afternoon we arrived to London. We took the underground and went to the hotel. The hotel got us surprise because it was really big, more or less 3000 rooms. 


After, we left our luggage in the hotel we went to have dinner. We had dinner in a nice restaurant called T.G.I.F (Thank God It's Friday) like the song Last Friday Night but Katy Perry. The meal was good till a dangerous, crazy girl stole Christina's bag. So we visited the British Police Station. 


My favourite part of the trip was the Micael Jackson's Musical. The theatre was really beautiful and big. They sang songs by M. Jackson like Thriller, Billie Jean, and Smooth Criminal. It was fantastic!


Wax Museum
It's my second favorite thing. There were plenty of famous people! (but most I've never seen them, hahahaha). There were Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Jack Sparrow, and Rihana. We crossed a horror tube where the people touched you on your back. It was really scary! Then we rode in a kind of roller coaster that showed the history of London. After that we watched a 4D. It was about superheroes.

Primero, llegamos al aeropuerto de Vigo, el avion llego tarde, pero mientras esperabamos conociamos a un futbolista famoso. El vuelo duro sobre dos horas y a la tarde llegamos a Londres. Cogimos el metro y fuimos al hotel. El hotel nos sorprednio porque era realmente grande (mas o menos 3000 habitaciones)


Despues, dejamos nuestro equipaje en el hotel y fuimos a cenar en un restaurante genial llamado T.G.I.F (en ingles, graicas dios es viernes) como en la cancion Last Friday Night de Katy Perry. La comida estuvo bien hasta que una loca y peligrosa mujer robo el bolso de Christina y visitamos la comisaria. 


Mi parte favorita del viaje fue el musical de M. Jackson. El teatro era realmente grande y bonito. Ellos cantaron canciones de Michael Jackson como Thriller, Billie Jean, y Smooth Criminal. Fue fantastico!


El Museo de Cera
Fue mi segundo sitio favorito. Habia mucha gente famosa! Pero a la mayoria nunca las habia visto. Estaban Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Jack Sparrow, y Rihanna. Pasamos un tunel del terror donde la gente te tocaba por la espalda. Fue realmente asustadizo! Despues montamos en una especie de montana rusa que nos conto la historia de Londres. Despues de eso vimos una pelicula en 4D, va sobre superheroes!

Despues del Viaje: Los Pensamientos de Marta

Well....The trip was was fantastic and exciting. The best was the Madame Tussauds and the musical of Michael Jackson....and the London Eye, the Big Ben, the Natural History Museum. When we went to Harrod's we saw very expensive prices. The food was very bad, I hate the hamburgers and the pizza, but I love past. In the third day I ate spagheti pomodoro: mmmm...pasta! In the airport I was very nervous. Oh I forgot, the best part of the day was in the hotel, in our rooms!!!! 

                                     I loved this trip!!!!

Bueno....EL viaje fue fanastico y emocionante. Lo mejor fue el Madame Tussauds y el musical de Michael Jackson...y el London Eye, el Big Ben, el Museo de Historia Natural...Cuando fuimos a Harrod's nosotros vimos unos precios muy caros. La comida era muy mala, yo odio las hamburguesas y la pizza, pero me encanta la pasta. En el tercer dia, yo comi espaguetis pamodoro: mmmmm pasta! En el aeropuerto yo estuve muy nerviosa. Oh, se me olvidaba...la mejor parte del dia fue en el hotel, en nuestras habitaciones!

It's Friday Aleady??!!

Today we got up, we got dressed, and we went to the tube to take the “Picadilly Circus Line”. We arrived to Cambden town, a big city, we spoke with the teacher, and we split up. We arrived at the shop where a man, the vender, gave us a discount because we was Spanish! Incredible! Today we are happy and sad because tomorrow we will travel to Spain.

Hoy nos levantamos, nos vestimos y fuimos en el metro, tomando la linea Picadilly Circus. Llegamos a Camden Town, una ciudad muy grande, quedamos con la profesora a una hora y nos separamos. Llegamos hasta una tienda donde un hombre, el vendedor, nos rebajo el precio por ser espanoles! Increible! Hoy estamos contentos pero tristes proque manana nos vamos!

Today, when we finished eating we went to the Museum of London because we couldn’t take the boat along the river. In the museum, we saw a lot of interesting things and we learnt so much. We saw and learnt a lot of the Olympics games and how the people lives in London and the clothes that was used. We saw some videos from how people walked in the city at the local supermarkets that they had in their time. An interesting and funny activity to learn about the past.

Hoy al termina de comer fuimos al Museo de Londres porque no pudimos coger el barco por el rio. En el vimos muchas cosas interesantes y apremdimos mucho. Vimos y aprendimos mucho sobre los juegos olympicos y sobre como se vivia en Londres y la ropa que se usaba. Tambien, vimos algunos de los videos que habia en la sala. Desde comer se andaba en la ciudad hasta los locales y comercios que habia en esa epoca. Una actividad interesante y divertida para aprender del pasado.

After leaving the Museum of London we went for a walk around the City, St. Paul’s Cathedral. We crossed the Millennium Bridge and arrived at the Tate Modern Gallery but it began raining again. Oh no! We walked for about 21 Km (it’s a joke!) to the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. It is really nice. It was a very fast walk because it was raining cats and dogs. We took the tube back to the hotel. It was really crowded.

Tonight it is our last night. Time goes by so….quickly. What a pity!

Despues de salir al Museo de Londres, fuimos a dar un paseo por la City, la catedral de San Pablo, cruzamos el Puente de Milenio y llegamos a la Tate Modern Gallery pero empezo a llover otra vez. Oh no! Caminamos durante 21 Km (Es una broma!) para llegar a el Puente y la Torre de Londres. Realmente bonito. Fue un paseo muy rapido porque estaba lloviendo a cantalos. Cogemos el metro de vuelta al hotel. Estaba lleno.

Esta noche es la ultima. El tiempo pasa tan….de prisa! Que pena!

The Best Day So Far!

At half past nine we left the hotel and we went to the National Gallery where we could see Sunflowers by Van Gogh. We visited Westminster Abby, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, and Buckingham Palace. We couldn’t see the Change of the Guard because the weather was very bad. We ate in Piccadilly Circus and we had free time to go shopping. After that we went to Madame Tussaud’s. We take photos with famous people: Rihianna, Michael Jackson, Shrek, Gandhi. We saw 4D film. After we had dinner very fast to go to the musical thriller about Michael Jackson. It’s fantastic. Then, we visited the M&M shop. Finally, we returned to the hotel very tired.

A las nueve y media comenzamos una caminata. Fuimos a la National Gallery donde pudimos ver al cuadro Los Girasoles de Van Gogh. Visitamos la Abadia de Westminster, el Big Ben, Las casas de Palamento, Downing Street, y el Palacio de Buckingham. No pudimos ver el cambio de la guardia por el mal tiempo. Comimos en Picadilly y tuvimos tiempo libre par air de compras. Despues fuimos al Madame Tussaud donde nos quitamos fotos con varios famosos: Rihianna, Michael Jackson, Shrek, Gandhi. Vimos una pelicula en 4D. Despues fuimos al hotel para cenar rapidamente y ir al musical Thrill de Michael Jackson. Es fantastico. Lluego, visitamos la tienda M y M. Finalmente regresamos al hotel muy cansados.

Day 2

Today we got up at 8:00 to have breakfast. Then, we went to the London Eye. We were afraid! We were hungry but first we visited the Natural History Museum and it was so great and amazing. After that we ate close to the museum. We visited Harrod's (a big and famous shopping center) but we didn't buy anything because the things were too expensive. So we went to another shopping center, Westfield. It was very big and beautiful with lots of things to do. We were really tired and took the underground back to the hotel to have a rest.

Hoy nos levantamos a las ocho para ir al desayunar. Lluego fuimos a London Eye y pasamos mucho miedo. Teniamos mucha hambre pero primero fuimos al museo de historia natural. Fue stupendo y sorprendente. Mas tarde comimos y fuimos a Harrods pero no compramos nada porque todo era demasiado caro. Asi que nos fuimos a otro centro comercial, Westfield. Era muy grande y bonito con muchas cosas que hacer. Estabamos muy cansados asi que cogimos el metro de vuelta al hotel para descansar.

Estamos en Londres!

This is the first day of our trip. We have used Vigo's airport to travel to London. We were scared in the flight. We arrive to London in the afternoon (18.00 Spanish hour). But we didn't arrive to the hotel until the evening because there was a long underground ride. Then, we went to have dinner close to the hotel. The restaurant was called Fridays and the dinner was really great until someone stole our partner Christina's bag. Oh my god! So we went to the police station. Poor Christina!

Este es nuestro primer dia del viaje. Utilizamos el aeropuerto del Vigo para viajar al Londres. Nos asustaba el vuelo. Llegamos a Londres por la tarde. Pero no llegamos al hotel hasta el atardeser porque era un trayecto largo del metro. Lluego fuimos a cenar cerca del hotel. El restaurante se llama Fridays y la cena fue realmente buena hasta que alguien robo el bolso de nuestro companera Cristina. Pobre Cristina .

Palabras de la Profe: Cuando Llegamos!

Well, here we are. I've been a bit worried and overwhelmed with the responsibility of traveling with other people's children. But I know it's a great opportunity for them, they will realize that they can manage much better than they think. There are great opportunities waiting for them. I will like this to be the starting point of my students' desire or wish to travel and discover other worlds. Now, I'm relaxed. I know all of us will have a wonderful time for sure!

Bien, aqui estamos. He estado un poco preocupada y angustiada por la responsibilidad de viajar con los hijos de otras personas. Pero se que es una gran oportunidad para ellos, se daran cuenta de que pueden arreglarselas mucho mejor de lo que creen. Hay muchas opportunidades esperandoles. Me gustaria que esto fuese el principio de su gusto por viajar y descubrir otros mundos. Ahora, estoy relajada. Se que todos nosotros lo pasaremos estupendamente, esto es seguro.
